Who I am
kNOULANA Jewellery is run by Joanna Trybura, a sole trader based in Scotland. I am responsible for the personal data collected through this website. You can contact me at contact@knoulana.com.
What I collect
When you order: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number (if you give it) and what you bought.
Payments: card payments are processed by the payment provider (Squarespace Payments/Stripe or PayPal). I never see or store your full card details.
When you contact me: your name, email address and your message.
Newsletter: your email address, only if you sign up.
When you browse: cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site and your basket working. Analytics and other non-essential cookies are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner.
How I use it
To process, deliver and support your order (to fulfil our contract). To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation). To answer your messages, and to send one reminder email if you leave items in your basket at checkout (legitimate interests). To send the newsletter and run analytics (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
Who I share it with
Only with the services I need to run the shop: Squarespace (website, checkout and emails), the payment provider, and the delivery company (Royal Mail, Evri or InPost) for your name, address and contact details. Some of these companies store data outside the UK, under legal safeguards approved for UK data. I never sell your data.
How long I keep it
Order records: 6 years, as required for tax. Messages: up to 2 years. Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how I use it, or withdraw your consent. Email contact@knoulanna.com and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how I handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
